Taking the elective course on Solar Engineering in college, has always made me interested in the happenings in the solar space.

The solar park in Pavagada, in Tumkur District of Karnataka, is an addition to the solar power generation power house of India’s arsenel.

The Global electricity consumption has decreased, owning to COVID and the less power consumption by most of the electronic gadgets (5V to 30V range) and the fact that no ACs are running in office building as much. China, India, Russia and US have seen massive rise in solar electricity generation and we now are in the group of the big guns of the world. Isn’t it time that UN recognises our contribution to the world — to give a power voice in the UN decision making process — as Indian PM iterated?

The raise of solar electricity generation has come after a steady decrease in coal production. China and Russia contribute to the world’s largest coal production and consumption.

India is up by 30% in Solar Electricity generation.

It is time that the world takes notes, as we should our achievements and contributions to the greener and safer world and aim to be a part of the UN decision making mechanism and be a thriving force in the world, which we always were.

“We were never a burden to the world, when we were weak, we were strong, we were never a threat” — It is time UN and the voice of other nations, starts seeing India, which has been a silent leader in this whole era.
